TRASITION
In 1992, the executive office concerned with the activities of AWANOSATO
of Art forum ( contract ended December 1995),which was inaugurated as a
link to the confectionary joint stock corporation Messena Enterprise and
Shikoku Tokushima Prefecture(culture and art support for business enterprises),
appealed to learned and experienced individuals domestically and internationally.In
1998, inline with the principles and objectives of AWANOSATO Art Forum,
JAPAN ART FORUM, Kyoto was born.After evaluating the achievements and results
of the culture and art aid activities'role in and out of Japan in excess
of 2 years,and as discreditionary and private and volunteer groups support
culture and art activities of creative individuals who have the willbut
not necessarily the domestic and foreign recognition that centrally constituted
Kyoto's culturally oriented persons, artists,and researchers ; on August
15, 2000, as now recognized by the Kyoto Prefectural government as NPO
Kyoto Society for Inter-Art Exchange ( commonly referred to as JARFO ),special
corporations have come to accept its official authorization.
OBJECTIVES
- To extend business support by way of way of sponsorships, aids, plans,
exhibitions, etc, to individuals and groups involved in culture and art
activities..
- To push for a positive exchange of art, while attempting to promote an
artist-enterprise cooperations and culture and art activities and art
research.
In order to achieve these objectives, the following
activities are organized:

international exchange.
