伝説のロック･ギタリスト、ジミ・ヘンドリックスのCD2枚におまけのDVDが付いた未発表音源アルバム「BBC Sessions」です。
アルバムのライナーノーツによると、ほとんどが1967年の録音ですが、ディスク２のトラック１６〜１９が1969年1月の録音となっています。
おまけのDVDは主にドキュメンタリーの映像となっていますが、関係者へのインタビューの他、当時のジミ・ヘンドリクスの演奏も含まれていて非常に貴重です。
なお、ディスク２のトラック１５、１７は「いつも心に太陽を（To Sir With Love）」等のヒット曲がある当時の人気女性歌手ルル（Lulu）のコメントなどとなっています。 このアルバムのトータル･タイムは、ディスク１が57分14秒、ディスク２が54分54秒、DVDが約24分などとなっています。 DVDのフォーマットは、リジョンコード：フリー、NTSC、カラー＆モノクロ、映像比4:3、リニアPCMステレオ、字幕は英語、スペイン語、フランス語他全6カ国（日本語は無し）などとなっています。 |
