ジョン・メイオール＆ブルースブレーカーズ、１９６６年発表のセカンド・アルバム「ジョン・メイオール＆ブルースブレーカーズ・ウィズ・エリック・クラプトン」の２枚組みデラックス盤。
ディスク１はオリジナル・トラックで、同じ曲が２曲ずつ入っているが、１曲目から１２曲目迄がＬＰレコードのモノラル・トラック盤、１３曲目から２４曲目がステレオ・トラック盤から。
ディスク２はボーナス盤で、１９６５年から１９６６年にかけてのＢＢＣセッションでのライブ、１９６６年のロンドンでのライブ、シングル盤（？）などが収録されている模様。
なお、ディスク２の１５曲目から１９曲目は、ジョン・メイオール＆ブルースブレーカーズのアルバム「プライマル・ソロズ（Primal Solos）」に収録されている曲（ＬＰレコードでのＡ面）と同じと思われる。
ディスク１の変なやり方はともかくとして、いずれにしても、若き日のエリック・クラプトンのスリリングなブルース・ギターが楽しめるマニア向けのアルバムだ。 トータル・タイムは、ディスク１が７５分９秒、ディスク２が５８分５９秒となっています。 |
