ジャニス・ジョプリンが在籍していたビッグ・ブラザー＆ザ・ホールディング・カンパニーの1968年の第2作。 "Summertime"、"Piece Of My Heart"、"Ball And Chain"など熱演ぞろい。ただ不自然な効果音が入り疑似ライブらしい。 この後ジャニス・ジョプリンはソロに転向し、「PEARL」などの名作アルバムを制作したが1970年に死去。
